They share goats, donkeys, turkeys, vegetable gardens, and the occasional family of mice living in the chicken coop. They also share the responsibility of looking after strong-willed, adventurous adolescents. But the commonality that holds Debbie McCullough and Cathy Tofstad together is their passion for waking up each morning to live their dream of helping community members in need of guidance, education, and care.

Seven months before the eagerly anticipated 2008 presidential elections, Wittenberg had an important election of its own. A record turnout and first-time online voting were the hallmarks of this year's Student Senate Elections, held Tuesday, April 8. <br />
According to Dean of Students Sarah Kelly, 49 percent of the student body cast votes, which Kelly deemed in an email to all students "a huge success."

Prior to this season, the voices of men's lacrosse team would have been boasting with confidence. Talk of a new year and a new team stacked with veterans and young talent had given the Tigers plenty of reason to be optimistic. According to sophomore captain Jeff Capella, the key to this year's turnaround from last season's 6-6 (1-4 NCAC) record would be consistency.

Under tight security, about 80 torchbearers ferried the flame down into the heart of this hilly Persian Gulf sultanate's capital, passing under historic stone arches and alongside the old souk, before winding along the edge of the Gulf coast against the backdrop of spectacular mountains.
